  • We offer training for young people aged 7-16, with students placed into Junior (ages 7-11) and Senior (ages 11-16) groups to ensure age-appropriate learning and support. This is based off school years 3-11.

  • No previous experience is required. Orpheus welcome students at different stages of their performing arts journey, with training designed to support both beginners and those with prior experience.

  • Classes are led by experienced industry trained professionals, supported by our wider team and visiting creatives. All our staff are DBS checked and have relevant experience, and are committed to providing a nurturing and professional environment.

  • Yes! We offer every student the chance to experience a free taster session so they can see how we work and get a feel for how we run at Orpheus. Official enrolment takes place following a taster session.

  • Fees are spread evenly across the calendar year and are collected monthly, making training more accessible for families. Full fee details are shared following a taster session during enrolment, with further details on the fees section of our website.

  • Yes - students must wear clothing that is suitable for movement and dance. Students are expected to wear all black and ideally to wear jazz shoes to academy sessions. A more detailed uniform description is available upon enrollment.

  • Where space allows, students may join mid-term. Fees will be adjusted accordingly.

  • We value clear communication and keep our families informed through regular updates and direct contact when appropriate. Parents/guardians are welcome to get in touch with any questions.

  • No - Orpheus Theatre Arts is an independent run academy, allowing us to offer more personal, flexible and carefully considered approach to training.
